Rodi Richardson was born in Jamaica then migrated to Anguilla at a tender age. She is a former pupil of the Teacher Gloria Omololu Institute now renamed as Omololu International School. While attending TGOI she represented the school in Track and Field for Inter-Primary Schools Sports Day and the Prince and Princess Show 1999.
Coach Rodi, as most of Anguilla’s children affectionately call her, was coach of the Aguilla Pepper Steppers- Anguilla’s Premier Skipping and Rope Demonstration team. In 2013 her desire for more led her to further her education at G.C. Foster College of Physical Education and Sport in Jamaica where she specialized in Track and Field. In 2017 she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Physical Education. She is a certified IAAF Coach who is proud to have recently started a track academy after the recent success of her athletes during last track season.
She joins the staff with a wealth of knowledge and experience, having taught Phys Ed at the primary and secondary levels in Anguilla. She has an undeniable passion for the arts and fitness and is dedicated to aid in the quest of making a healthier and happier Anguilla one bright-eyed child at a time.
She is excited for the years ahead, and looks forward to helping Omololu International School feature more positively on the local sports scene.
