For the past 18 years, the Teacher Gloria Omololu Institute, has been delivering education with a focus on holistic and modern approach to learning. Located on the small island of Anguilla, the school caters to local, regional and expatriate children from 11 different countries all over the World.
Founded in 1994 by Dr. Oluwakemi M Linda Banks, it is named after Dr. Banks’ sister, Gloria Cassandra Banks Harrigan, a model teacher, who lost her life in a tragic accident in 1987. Omololu’s purpose is to maximize the human potential of children in the most formative stage of their lives and to produce well adjusted citizens for Anguilla in particular, and for the world at large. In this first phase of its development, the school provides education for children from three years to twelve years, embracing the holistic development of the child based on the National Anguilla Curriculum blended with Regional and International components.
